ECS round robin reaches end

The round robin stage of ECS Season 1's European division has come to an end, with G2 joining Astralis at the offline finals.
With Astralis already through to the offline finals after posting an impressive 7-1 record in the round robin stage, the second spot was contested by NiP, G2, FaZe and mousesports as we headed into the final day of the league.
NiP took a giant step towards a top-two finish as they defeated mousesports on two maps before their final clash against in-form G2, who began the day by moving past dignitas 2-0.
With an excellent display from their in-form duo Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom and Richard "shox" Papillon, G2 were able to defeat NiP 16-13 on Dust2 and 16-14 on Train to create a three-way tie for second with the Swedish giants and also FaZe.
G2 set to return to London
The first criteria applied, map difference, ruled FaZe out as they had a -1 record, against their rivals' +5. And after much deliberation and confusion, the admins looked at the number of maps wons. This criteria put G2 through as they had 12 maps won in total, against NiP's 11.
There was also a three-way tie for sixth place, with fnatic leapfrogging both EnVyUs and Virtus.pro due to having a better map difference (-3 against both rivals' -4).
This means that Astralis and G2 are through to the offline finals, taking place from June 24-26 at the SSE Arena, in London. The last two continental spots will go to the leading teams of a double-elimination bracket featuring the teams who placed third to sixth.
